NEW in MAY2015: French Infernal Reverb – Impulse Response Library
Listen to this MP3-demo. All three reverbs in the mix are French Infernal Reverb Impulses. At the end the mix fades to reverb-dry. Bass: Roland Super Jupiter MKS-80, Drums: Linndrum LM-1.
Our latest impulse library captures one of the most interesting and rarest multi-effect devices of the early 80s. It was used by many successful British and US-producers and movie scoring & sound design artists from 1983 on. It is indeed a vintage sounding reverb that covers this 80s sound in many amazing ways. As it does not utilize any reverb modulation, it is perfectly reproduced with convolution technique. Today the original is hard to find but if you want to have that sound, you simply can use our library. The French Infernal Reverb is originally a mono-to-stereo reverb, but beside of that, with convolution you also can use it in true-stereo. Sun rises when you use it in conjunction with old drum machines, vocals or vintage synthesizers. Its early 16 bit linear A/D-D/A converters where state of the art and made that 80s mid-fidelity sound, as they did not have the bandwidth of modern converters. Of course we captured it thru the analogue stage via top-class-converters.
All files are stereo, 32-Bit, WAV-format.
The library consists of 340 files. Size is around 480 MB uncompressed.
Studiodevices has released a new reverb plug-in for Windows VST. The VLX-1 was modeled after a well known and widely spread low-budget 9.5-inch reverberation unit produced in the late 80s and early 90s for small studios with limited budget. Many low-budget hit-productions around 1990 used exactly this sound for their very own special character. It also fits harmonically to the good old home-recording-style of sound.
Like most of these vintage devices, the VLX-1 is a mono-to-stereo reverb and features the very same sound of the original unit using convolution processing. The idea behind the VLX-1 is pure nostalgia and brings one of the formerly most used reverberation units inside the DAW-world.

LEXICOGRAPHY VOL.2 IMPULSE RESPONSES LIBRARY RELEASED
After the well known Bree Casedy Library and Lexicography Vol.1, Studiodevices has released another brand-new and highly demanded professional library of impulse-responses named "Lexicography Vol.2". Totalling about 1.8 GB, this collection was produced using the most demanded hardware reverb unit known today. These ultra high density 24 bit and 96 kHz impulse-responses are capable of meeting the highest demands. Every impulse-response is available in stereo and true-stereo, and was selected carefully and manually optimized by experienced audio-engineers for convolution processing. With the Lexicography Vol.2 Library, you can benefit from the experience of many reputable engineers that where involved in the production.
The Lexicography Vol.2 Library can be used with any convolution plug-in available and works for Mac and PC.
LEXICOGRAPHY VOL.1 IMPULSE RESPONSES LIBRARY RELEASED
After the well known Bree Casedy Library, Studiodevices releases an other brand new and highly demanded professional library of impulse-responses named "Lexicography Vol.1". With an amount of 570 MB, this collection was produced using the most expansive hardware reverberator known today. The ultra high density 24 bit and 96 kHz impulse-responses are capable to meet the highest demands. Every impulse-response is available in stereo und true-stereo, was selected carefully and optimized by experienced audio-engineers for the following convolution process manually. With Lexicography Vol.1 Library, also you can benefit from the experience of many reputable engineers that where involved in the production.
The Lexicography Vol.1 Library can be used with any convolution plug-in available and works for Mac and PC.
